Music
I often combine my poetry performances with music. I play the hammered dulcimer (pictured above), plucked psaltery and zither. The songs I sing are usually Celtic folk songs and are often ancient in origin. Below are a few links to some of my music recordings. You can see more on my YouTube channel @BeckyLoweSwansea
'When I think I perform a poem or a song, I'm automatically putting up a barrier between myself and those listening. But when I share it - when I open myself up to the vulnerability of letting others into my space - that's where the magic happens.'

Artwork
I also like to paint, just for fun. Painting for me is a mindful activity, which enables me to slow down and recentre. I am particularly fascinated by Celtic knotwork, which echoes the interconnected patterns of nature. Below is a selection of my Celtic artwork.
